Miri Lawrence has served as a congregational rabbi and educator throughout her career.  She was a rabbinic student at Leo Baeck College and, in 1992, was ordained and gained a Masters in Jewish Studies. In 2019 she completed a collaborative PhD with Queen Mary University of London and the Museum of Home, examining Judaism in the post-war suburban home (1945-1979). In 2020 Miri curated the ‘Lily’s Legacy’ project – a multi-media exhibition featuring the voices, visions, memories and archival records of Liberal Judaism through the 20th and 21st century.  Miri currently serves two Liberal Jewish congregations in Ealing and Reading. She is working on the interfaith dimension of the ‘Practising Home’ project strand.
