Steve Brace

Steve is Head of Education and Outdoor Learning at the Royal Geographical Society and the Institute of British Geographers, leading the educational programme which provides online resources, professional support for geography teachers and activities to promote the importance of geography to young people. He works with DfE, Ofsted and Ofqual in relation to the geography National Curriculum and its GCSE and A Level-examinations. Previously Director of Education for the Commonwealth Institute and Head of Education at ActionAid, Steve started his career as a geography teacher in Hillingdon.
